[영어 문법] 기수 와 서수

 수사 : 기수와 서수
    수사에는 기수(하나, 둘, 셋...)와 서수(첫째, 둘째.  셋째.... 열한번째 .....)(차례)가 있다.
    서수를 만들 때는 몇가지를 제외하고는 기수에  ~th를 붙인다.
    문장속에서 서수 앞에는 the를 쓴다. 다음 주의 해야할 서수를 알자.

▲주의해야할 서수

철자가 바뀌는 것	five ---> fifth   mine --->  ninth   twelve ---> twelfth
--ty  ---> tieth	twenty ---> twentieth   thirty - thirtieth
21이상: 십자리는 기수,   일자리는 서수	21 - twenty - first   33 - thirty - third   154 - one hundred and fifty - fourth

연도 : 두자리씩 끊어   읽는다.	1998 : nineteen ninety-eight   1900 : nineteen hundred
소수: 소수점   point(decimal)소수점이하는   한자리씩 읽기	4.21 : four point two one   6. 305 : six point three zero five
월 일: 3월 25일	march the twenty - fifth   march twenty - fifth   the twenty - fifth of march
전화번호 : 숫자 하나씩 읽기.	952-7653 : nine five two seven six five   644-0268 : six four four(double four) three 0(zero) two six eight
시간 : 시간과 분을 나누어   정수처럼 읽기.    to(분전) past(분후)이용   분 to (past)  시간	7 : 30 PM. :    seven thirty  pi:em   7 : 05 :   five past seven   2 : 55 :   five to three
분수읽기 1. 분자 분모로   읽는다.   2. 분자:기수로, 분모는   서수로 읽기   3. 분자가 2이상이면 분모에   -s를 붙이고 분자   분모사이에 -을 쓴다.   4. 정수 + 분수	1/2 :   a half   1/3 :  a  third   1/4 :  a quarter(a fourth)   3/4 :  three - quarters   4/5  :  four - fifths   5 4/7 :  five and four-sevenths
